In 9th grade, I applied to become a photography editor for The Riverdale Review, Riverdale's entirely student written and managed newspaper. As a 12th grader, I was the lead Photo Editor, a Graphics Editor and our Website Editor. I, along with our Editor and Chief, decided that it would be an amazing idea to create an iPhone app for the paper. Typically, The Riverdale Review publishes a printed issue once a month, but with the addition of an app we now have the freedom and ability to publish more pressing and current articles to users through the app. The app is now published and the project has been taken over by current high school students at Riverdale.
